FOME FLEX HYDROPROTECT Primer, 1 l bottle, is a deep-penetrating primer designed to strengthen old or new absorbent surfaces before applying the waterproofing coating FOME FLEX HYDROPROTECT Membrane. The primer penetrates deep into the absorbent substrate, strengthening it, reducing its absorbency and improving the adhesion of the waterproofing membrane. This helps to create a reliable and long-lasting waterproofing system.
The waterproofing membrane can usually be applied after approximately 4 hours, allowing waterproofing work to continue on the same day. Thanks to its consistency, this primer for waterproofing membrane spreads easily over the surface and is absorbed evenly into the substrate. It can be used for surface preparation both indoor and outdoor.
Application areas:
- For priming a surface before applying the waterproofing coating FOME FLEX HYDROPROTECT.
- Before waterproofing bathrooms, showers, kitchens, laundries, balconies, terraces and other wet areas.
- For old and new substrates with absorbent properties.
- Can be used in heated floor structures.
Use for priming these surfaces:
- Concrete;
- Aerated concrete;
- Plaster (cement-lime, lime, gypsum);
- Boards (cement, gypsum, gypsum-cardboard);
- Sandstone.
Remarks / Restrictions:
The primer cannot be used during rain or frost. Drying time depends on the type of substrate, temperature and humidity. The product is not intended for food-contact and medical applications. All given parameters are based on laboratory tests compliant with internal manufacturer’s standards and strongly depend on product hardening conditions.
