Benefits of Spray Paints
Spray Paints are widely used for painting automotive parts, small components, decorative items and for maintenance work. Different paint technologies provide various levels of mechanical or environmental resistance, different drying times and finishes.
Both INRAL product lines are available in a wide range of RAL colours, ensuring accurate colour matching and consistent results.
Alkyd-Based INRAL Universal Spray Paint
In addition to surface compatibility, the paint offers several performance benefits:

Acrylic-based INRAL Acrylic Universal Spray Paint
- These paints feature a dual nozzle system. The standard nozzle produces a circular spray pattern. The fan nozzle produces an elongated spray pattern similar to professional spray guns. It can be turned vertically or horizontally.
- Acrylic spray paints deliver excellent resistance to weathering and UV exposure.
- They do not yellow over time and provide high durability.
- INRAL Acrylic Universal delivers consistent coverage, strong adhesion and long-lasting finish on multiple surfaces.
- These spray paints are dust-dry after only 5-8 minutes. Paint fully cures in approximately 16 hours.
Compatible Surfaces
Both product lines are designed for wide material compatibility and indoor/outdoor use.
Suitable surfaces include:
- Metal (steel, iron, brass and more)
- Plastic (ABS and selected plastics; primer recommended)
- Wood
- Plaster and gypsum
- Stone and cement (Acrylic Universal)
- Cardboard
- Glass (Acrylic Universal)
- Stucco and mineral surfaces
Note: Avoid applying Acrylic Universal on silicone-contaminated surfaces or polystyrene. Always use appropriate primers for best adhesion.
Application Guide for Spray Paint
To achieve optimal performance, proper surface preparation and application are essential. Recommendations for using INRAL Acrylic Universal spray paints (as well as other aerosol paints):
- Before using any spray paint, the surface must be clean and degreased.
- It is recommended to use a primer before painting. We recommend INRAL NITRO or INRAL PLASTIC primers.
- For the best results the paint should be used between +10 °C and +25 °C.
- Spray paint can must be shaken vigorously for about 2 minutes before using it.
- Maintain a spraying distance of 20–30 cm for more even coverage.
- Apply spray paint in thin cross layers with a few minutes’ pause between coats.
- When finished, turn the can upside down and clean the nozzle by holding it down for a few seconds.
