FOME FLEX GLAZING & WINDOW PRODUCTION is an Oxime-based premium neutral silicone used in window manufacturing and professional glazing, as well as façade work. It is UV, moisture and mold resistant, making it ideal for use in very humid areas inside buildings and for glazing and façade work outdoors as well. Compatible with butyl, plastics and other silicones making it ideal for window applications. Excellent durability properties ensure long service life (Shore A even 26). The very easily formed joint always remains highly elastic and extremely mechanically strong. Shows excellent adhesion to most surfaces. Compatibility tests with butyl, silicones and plastics used in the window industry have been carried out in certified laboratories.

All surfaces must be clean, free of grease and dry. The sealant joint shall be no wider than 25 mm and the minimum width of the joint shall be 6 mm. Deep joints shall be filled with a load-bearing expansion tape. The silicone shall be extruded with a syringe gun and spread with a trowel, smoothing out the joint. The skin is formed in 5 minutes. Leave the compound until full cure.
