POINT PU 301 METAL & WOOD FIX is a universal, extra strong, flexible construction adhesive and sealant based on polyurethane. Typically used for bonding and sealing stair treads and metal structures. This product is specially certified according to the CE standard for the installation of stairs and walkways (EN 15651-4: PW-EXT-INT-CC 25 HM). Can be used indoors and outdoors. It is also used for bonding and sealing many building materials during renovation and construction work. Very high tensile strength after curing – 25 kg/cm2. It forms a very elastic (elongation to break 450%) and mechanically strong joint (Shore A hardness 45).

  • For bonding steps and sealing walkways in living and production buildings.
  • For bonding metal construction materials and finishing elements.
  • Bonding and sealing of construction materials made of wood, metal, lacquered sheet, plastic, natural stone, ceramics, clinker, concrete, etc.
  • Sealing of vertical and horizontal joints of metal and wooden structures.
  • Installation and finishing of building facades.

 

 

Surfaces must be dry, clean and free from grease. Application temperature from +5 °C to +40 °C. Cut the end of the cartridge and screw the nozzle supplied with it. Insert the cartridge into the caulking gun and fill the nozzle with glue by pressing the trigger on the gun several times. The adhesive is applied with strips or dots on the surface or the element to be bonded. After applying the adhesive, join the surfaces by strong compression. Uncured adhesives can be cleaned with FOME FLEX Multicleaner, after hardening mechanically. It is recommended to carry out tests
before gluing.

Warranted expiry date: 18 months from the date of manufacture if stored in the original sealed packaging in a dry and cool place at a temperature between +5°C and +25°C. Frost resistance during transport up to -15°C.
