FOME FLEX HYDRO PAINT – fast drying, one-component, multi-purpose acrylic liquid paint and sealant, brick brown RAL8004, 6 kg. It is ready-to-use and highly flexible coating used to protect, seal and decorate surfaces such as concrete, trapezoidal and galvanized sheet metal, bitumen shingles, roofing felt, metal, ceramic and cement roof tiles, plaster, and wood.

The coating has excellent resistance to weather conditions. It is very easy to apply and has a wide range of applications. The product can be to renovate surfaces such as roofs, tool sheds, concrete fences, walls and small garden structures such as gazebos, shelters, pergolas, planters, wells and more.

The product is without solvents and environmentally friendly.

Application areas:

  • For renovation, decoration, sealing and protection;
  • For flat and pitched roof;
  • For chimneys, gutters, ventilation outlets;
  • For fences, gates and wickets;
  • For walls, balconies and house plinth;
  • For small garden structures such as gazebos, shelter, pergolas, planters, wells, tool sheds and more;
  • Can be used on concrete, plaster, metal sheets, bituminous surfaces, ceramic and cement tiles, wood.

Restrictions:

  • Coating can not be used during rain or frost.
  • It is not suitable for full waterproofing.
  • Also, not suitable for use on foundations.
  • Drying time depends on type of substrate, temperature and humidity.

Surface preparation:

The surface should be clean, smooth, dry and free of grease, mechanical damage and other particles that reduce adhesion. Larger defects should be filled. Powder-coated surfaces should be slightly abraded and cleaned. Absorbent substrates should be primed with FOME FLEX HYDROPROTECT Primer. Non-absorbent surfaces, such as metal sheets, felt and bitumen substrates, should be primed with a 5:1 paint-to-water mixture. Improper substrate preparation reduces coating adhesion.

Applications:

Mix the product well before use, do not dilute. Mix products from different batches before use. Apply the paint in at least two coats with a brush or roller. Apply the second coat only after the first one is completely dry, after about 2 h. Each coat should be at least 1 mm thick. Protect freshly painted surfaces from rain and direct sunlight until the coating is fully cured (min. 24 h). Low temperatures and lack of adequate air circulation prolong the drying time.

Cleaning:

Clean the tools and uncured coating with FOME FLEX Profi Wipes, after curing – mechanically.

Product is packaged in 1 kg., 3 kg. and 6 kg. buckets. Store up to 24 months from the production date indicated in original sealed packaging at +5 °C to +30 °C. Protect from frost and direct sunlight.
