POINT 626 EPOXY METAL – is a fast-curing, two-component epoxy adhesive for metal, consisting of epoxy resin and hardener. The components are mixed in equal parts, allowing strong initial adhesion to be achieved within just a few minutes. Reinforced with steel filler (stainless steel alloy), the adhesive is ideal for repairing metal parts and filling cracks.

Once fully cured, it forms an exceptionally strong, mechanically resistant layer that can be drilled, sanded and further machined. The product offers high resistance to chemicals, moisture and changing weather conditions, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Excellent adhesion to:

  • Steel;
  • Stainless steel;
  • Aluminium;
  • Brass;
  • Iron;
  • Tin alloys;
  • MDF;
  • Wood;
  • OSB;
  • Rigid PVC;
  • Concrete;
  • Other construction materials.

Application areas:

Can be used with all metals: steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, iron and tin alloys.

Suitable for repairing broken furniture, household appliances, toys and car parts, as well as pump and valve bodies.

Intended for repairing cracks and breaks in equipment, machinery and castings.

Suitable for filling holes and pits in castings.

Chemical resistance:

EXCELLENT RESISTANCE: to benzene, petrol, 10 % hydrochloric acid, kerosene, white spirit, 10 % phosphoric acid, 10 % potassium hydroxide, 10 % and 50 % sodium hydroxide, 10 % sulfuric acid, and toluene.

MODERATE RESISTANCE: to 10 % acetic acid, 50 % nitric acid, and 50 % sulfuric acid.

Limitations:

Not suitable for bonding polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene).

Surfaces must be even, clean and dry. Roughen smooth surfaces for better adhesion.

Dispense both components in equal amounts at a ratio of 1:1 and mix until a uniform, homogeneous mixture is obtained. Apply the adhesive to both surfaces to be bonded as quickly as possible and join them immediately. Apply enough adhesive to fully cover the surfaces. Join the parts and press firmly.

Fix the assembled parts and keep them from moving throughout the entire curing time (24 h).
