ZOOM VAPOR BARRIER Tape is a sealing and bonding tape designed for use with vapour barrier systems in pitched roofs. The unique adhesive properties make this tape suitable for bonding and sealing overlaps between various materials, including plywood, chipboard and flexible vapour barrier films. The product meets the strict requirements of EnEV (DIN 4108/11) for the permanent airtight sealing of vapour barrier sheeting.

Its low-temperature resistance allows the tape to be applied during the cold months, at temperatures down to -20 °C. After application, the tape withstands temperatures from –30 °C up to +100 °C.

The high-performance adhesive system ensures excellent tack values and adheres well to the polar surfaces of solid construction materials and also to non-polar, low energy surfaces, such as PE-film. The elastic LDPE-film carrier ensures optimum sealing on various surfaces and overlaps.

The tape is resistant to UV rays (for 2 years in central European climate) and has high resistance to condensation water.

When properly applied, vapour barrier tape helps to maintain the integrity of the vapour barrier. The sealing function is performed not only by the tape itself, but also by the adhesive coating it is covered with.

Thanks to its exceptional adhesive properties and the elastic, mesh-reinforced backing, ZOOM VAPOR BARRIER Tape adapts easily to a variety of surfaces and ensures a reliable bond.

All surfaces and materials have to be dry, free of dust and oil at the lamination area. All residues of cleaning agents or other auxiliary agents should be removed with clean, dry cloth.
The application should be stress/tension free and the approved techniques stated at DIN 4108/11 have to be followed. Where stress/tension free application cannot be ensured, the materials have to be fixed additionally with mechanical
means.
The recommended processing temperature has to be observed and the appropriate bonding pressure has to be applied. The adhesion of surfaces and materials has to be checked by the user, if required the application has to be re-worked.

Store in a cool dry place away form sunlight and direct heat sources. As far as the storage conditions are respected, the product is guaranteed 12 months. Quantity per box – 10 pcs. Quantity per pallet – 850 pcs.
